Welcome to The Old Elm Tree
Being only 3 miles from Royston and within 10 miles of Cambridge it is within easy reach of many.
The Old Elm Tree was originally built in the mid 19th century as a coaching house. Between then and 2010 it was licensed under the sign of The Star. The existing name, The Old Elm Tree, came into being when Paul & Claire took over in April 2010 and after completely refurbishing thought it was time to give it a new lease of life. Even though it´s a new name to this building there was a pub called The Old Elm Tree in Melbourn opposite the elm tree that stood outside the church many years ago.
